Song of the South

 I'm a good ole Texan girl who has lived in the South her whole life. I was born and raised in Dallas Texas which definitely has some style. Dallas is all about the glitz and glam, over the top, colorful style, which I love. I definitely think I have carried that idea into my own personal style.

Currently I live in Columbia SC, which is not the fashion capital of the world you might say. But I have to give the South some credit, we have style too ( yeah I'm talking to you New York ). I must say though when I see all the style pictures from New York and Paris I swoon. Unfortunately South Carolina doesn't have a lot of access to fashion like some places.  But just because you may not have access to a H&M , J crew or Kate Spade, doesn't mean you cant dress with style. I have a passion for creating style with what you got. Of course I would love to be dressed head to toe in Chanel or Valentino everyday, but that's not realistic for most people. Fashion is all about taking the staples every girl should have in her closet and putting her own twist on them. Don't let money be a barrier or deterrent. When you are wearing something you love you will be more confident and happier....y'all.
