Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25

I recently received some samples of the Exuviance Performance Peel AP25.
It is a peel made from the creators of the original glycolic peel and is used to improve lines and wrinkles. First you apply an activator pad for about 10 minutes, then you apply a neutralizer pad and rinse. Simple as that. I have to say I'm only 25 so I'm not too wrinkly... yet. When I used the peel it did sting a little bit, but not bad. My skin was not too irritated by it, which I know can sometimes happen from glycolic peels. I also do not have particularly sensitive skin though. I can't say 100% if it will get rid of wrinkles since I'm pretty wrinkle free, but I did like using it for preventive measures.

Valentia Even Glow Serum

Lets face it, skin is important. I have a simple, but important, skin care routine. I wash my face and moisturize daily. I am not going to lie, I am dreading the day when I get wrinkles.
My plan is to keep my skin healthy and age gracefully, heres hoping.

Recently I added a new product to my skin care regimen: Valencia Even Glow Serum.  I received this product to review it and share it with my readers. I only review products I believe in and truly support, and this antioxidant serum is one of them.

This serum is 20% Vitamin C and smells like citrus! Bonus!
Green tea extract is a key ingredient which adds antioxidants to fight inflammation and irritants. Organic rosehip seed oil and organic sea buckhorn oil increase skin hydration.
I like this serum because it is alcohol free and paraben free, and it does not feel harsh on your skin.
The serum made my skin feel hydrated and added a nice glow.
After I wash my face at night I apply a small amount of the serum to my neck and face and once it is dry I then apply my daily moisturizer.
It is a simple routine but it keeps my skin healthy!

What's up with Coconut oil?

Why is everyone obsessed with coconut oil? I would like to find out.
I bought this coconut oil to see what the hype is about. I keep hearing about oil pulling, an ancient Ayurvedic technique, and its benefits like preventing gingivitis,  whiter teeth and better oral health. So I shall try it. I'm a little skeptical.
The idea of swishing oil in my mouth sounds a bit gross to me.
But here it goes...
You are supposed to put 1-2 teaspoons in your mouth and swish it around for 20 minutes. Then spit it out in the trash can ( not the sink).
When I first open the jar it smells kind of weird, like salty coconut.
I tried 2 teaspoons which I think was too much. The oil melts quickly and doubles in size as you do it and It almost came pouring out my mouth. I looked real cool.
I only made it about 15 minutes instead of the 20 recommended minutes.
Once the oil melts it actually doesn't have much taste. The oil also made my lips feel good, it kind of feels like chapstick. I may just rub the coconut oil on my lips now.
Overall, not so bad. Next time ill do 1 tsp. and try and make it the whole 20 minutes.
Maybe it will give me better oral health... Maybe?

Would love to know if anyone has had any luck with this or has any other uses for coconut oil.

 Everyone wants Blake Livelys hair

Blake Lively has pretty incredible, effortless yet goddess like hair...  Myself as a mere mortal, has been on the road to try to duplicate that hair for quite a while. I think I finally found a way.

My hair is naturally straight and pretty lifeless so after I shower I put some volume mousse in it. When I blow dry it I blow dry it upside down and the opposite way the hair is supposed to lay to give it more volume.

Heres how to curl it .... wrap small sections around a larger curling iron and DONT use the clamp. Leave the ends out.  Hold for about 10 seconds them release and hair spray!!! For more curl use a bobby pin and pin the curl to your head while you finish your hair..

When you are done curling and take all the bobby pins out ( if used ) and hair spray some more. And then run your fingers through your hair and comb it out.You can always use some beach spray to give it a little messiness.

Its really very easy !!
